SGPGI Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025: The Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) has released the SGPGI Nursing Officer Recruitment 2025 notification under Advertisement No. I/08/1/Rectt/2025-26, announcing 1200 vacancies for the post of Nursing Officer (Sister Grade-II) in Pay Level 7 (Group B).

The application process has begun on 18 June 2025, with the cut-off date for eligibility being January 1, 2025. The last date to apply online is 18 July 2025, and the fee payment will be notified on the official website.

SGPGI Recruitment 2025 Qualification

Nursing Officer:

• B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing OR Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC recognized institute Registered as Nurse & Midwife OR
• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) + Registered as Nurse & Midwife + 2 years’ experience in a 50-bedded hospital.

Junior Accounts Officer:

• B.Com with at least 55% marks + 2 years’ experience in accounts + Knowledge of computers

Technical Officer (CWS):

• Degree in Electronics / Glass Tech / Mechanical / relevant branch OR
• 3-year Diploma in Radio / TV / Electronics / Electrical / Glass Tech / Mechanical or relevant + 5 years’ experience in lab instrument maintenance (mandatory for diploma holders)

Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

• B.Sc. in Life Science or other Science + 1-year Diploma in Medical Radiation and Isotope Techniques (DMRIT) OR equivalent (approved by AERB).

Store Keeper:

• Degree + PG Degree / Diploma in Material Management + Computer knowledge

Medical Social Service Officer Gr-II:

• Master’s in Social Work + Experience with a Health / Welfare Agency

Senior Administrative Assistant:

• Graduate + knowledge of noting / drafting + typing speed: 30 wpm (Eng.) or 25 wpm (Hindi)
• Minimum 1-year experience in Govt. / PSU / Autonomous bodies (including outsourced / contractual)
• Must qualify bilingual typing test during 2-year probation

Stenographer:

• Graduate + Stenography: 80 wpm (Hindi / English) + Typing: 25 wpm (Hindi) or 30 wpm (English) + Computer knowledge
• Must qualify bilingual typing test during 2-year probation

CSSD Assistant:

SGPGI Nursing Officer Selection Process 2025

The Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI), Lucknow, will conduct the Common Recruitment Test (CRT) for all successfully registered candidates to recruit eligible candidates for Nursing Officer (NO) posts. The selection will be done based on the marks obtained by candidates in a single stage of the exam i.e. the Common Recruitment Test (CRT). Qualified candidates in the CRT exam will be called for verification of documents by the Institute.

Common Recruitment Test (CRT) – The SGPGI Common Recruitment Test will be conducted to select candidates for Nursing Officer posts. The exam will be held for a total of 100 marks.

Document Verification Process – Candidates who declared qualified in the CRT exam will be called to appear for verification of the certificate by the exam authority.

Final Merit List – The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the Common Recruitment Test (CRT) for all categories.
