Sainik School Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

PGT:

• Two-year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc/M.A of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the subject concerned. OR
• Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the subject concerned.
• B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• Proficiency in teaching in English medium.

TGT:

• Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. OR
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/combination of subjects and in aggregate.
• Minimum two subjects out of History, Geography, Economics, sociology and Political Science or Hons Graduation with History/Political Science/Geography as main subject in all the three years of graduation/four years integrated degree course. OR as per the CBSE bylaws rules for the post of TGT (Social Science)
• B.Ed degree from a recognized University. (iv) Pass in the central teacher eligibility test (CTET) or STET, conducted by central/state govt/CBSE in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
• Proficiency in teaching in English medium.

Counsellor:

• M.A/M/Sc. Psychology from recognized university plus regular one-year graduate with diploma in career guidance and counselling. OR
• M.A/M/Sc/M. Com with B.Ed/M.Ed qualification plus regular one year post graduate with diploma in career guidance and counselling. OR
• B.A/B/Sc (Psychology) with certificate of diploma in career guidance and counselling.

PEM/PTI-Cum-Matron:

• Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) four years degree course. OR
• Three years graduation with one year B.P.Ed Diploma. OR
• B.Sc Physical Education, health education & sports + one year B.P.Ed diploma.

Art Master:

• Graduate with Drawing and Painting / Art/Fine Art with minimum two years full-time diploma from recognized institute. OR
• M.A in Drawing and Painting /Fine Art from a recognized University. OR
• Higher Secondary / Intermediate / Senior Secondary examination with minimum 4 years full time diploma in painting /fine arts from a recognized institute.

Lab Assistant (Physics, Chemistry, Biology):

• Candidates must pass Intermediate in Science or equivalent in the subject.

Lower Division Clerk (LDC):

• Candidates must have passed 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
• English/Hindi/Regional language typing speed at least 40 words per minutes on computer.
• Knowledge of shorthand and ability to correspond in Hindi and English.
