NPCIL Recruitment 2024: NPCIL is a premier public sector enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. It is responsible for the generation of nuclear power in India. NPCIL operates 23 nuclear power reactors across the country, with a total installed capacity of 6980 MW.

SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2024 Notification Out

  • HSC (10+2) or ISC in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Subjects) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.
  • SSC (10th) with minimum 50% marks in Science subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in relevant trade (Electrician / Fitter / Instrumentation /Electronics/ Machinist / Turner / Welder.
  • For trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 2 years, the candidates shall have at least one year of relevant working experience after completion of the course.
  • Shall have English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.
  • The written examination will be OMR-based or Computer Based Test (CBT). It consists of two stages: Preliminary Test and Advanced Test.
  • The Preliminary Test is a screening examination with 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on Mathematics, Science, and General Awareness.
  • The Advanced Test focuses on the candidate’s respective trade for maintainers and HSC/ISC level questions for operators.
  • This test checks the physical fitness of the candidates. The minimum height required is 160 cm, and the minimum weight required is 45.5 kg.
  • In this step, candidates need to submit their documents for verification.
  • Some positions may require a personal interview. For the Maintainer post, there will also be a Skill Test. The final merit list will be prepared based on the candidates’ performance in the Advanced Test.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a two-year training program and receive a monthly stipend. Upon successful completion of training, they may be appointed as Technicians/B.
  • It will be a screening examination to be held to shortlist candidates.
  • The format of screening examination shall be common for all trades and will be in the following format.
  • Examination will comprise 50 Multiple Choice Questions (Choice of 04 answers) of 01 (one) hour duration in the following proportion.
  • 03 (Three) marks shall be awarded for each correct answer and 01 (one) mark shall be deducted for each incorrect answer.

  • All the candidates appearing in Stage 1 will undertake the Stage 2 (Advanced test).
  • The test will be of 02 (two) hours duration for a Maximum of 150 marks.

  • Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN)-Operator: The level of questions will be based on the syllabus in HSC or ISC.
  • Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN)-Maintainer: The level of questions will be based on their respective trade.
  • The Test will comprise 50 Multiple Choice Questions (Choice of four answers) with 03 (Three) marks shall be awarded for each correct answer and 01 (one) mark shall be deducted for each incorrect answer.
