Assam Rifles Recruitment 2025: Assam Rifles Technical and Tradesman Recruitment Rally 2025 is tentatively scheduled from the 3rd week of April 2025 onwards for enrolment into Group B and C posts against 215 vacancies based on applications received from eligible male/ female candidates.

Candidates will be considered for recruitment on the production of a valid “Domicile/Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC)’ issued by the Competent Authority so authorized by the concerned State/UT to prove their domiciliary status.

Educational Qualifications:

Safai (Sweeper):

• Qualification: 10th pass

Religious Teacher (RT):

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree (Sanskrit or Bhusan in Hindi)

Radio Mechanic (RM):

• Qualification: 10th pass with relevant diploma OR 12th pass (PCM)

Lineman Field (LNM):

• Qualification: 10th pass with ITI (Electrician)

Engineer Equipment Mechanic:

• Qualification: 10th pass with ITI (Motor Mechanic)

Electrician Mechanic Vehicle:

• Qualification: 10th pass with ITI (Motor Mechanic)

Recovery Vehicle Mechanic:

• Qualification: 10th pass with ITI (Recovery Vehicle Mechanic/Operator)

Upholster:

Assam Rifles Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

Physical Standard Test (PST):

• This stage verifies that candidates meet the required physical standards, including height and chest measurements.
• Standards vary depending on the candidate’s category and region.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• This test assesses the candidate‘s physical fitness.
• It typically includes events like running and other physical activities.

Written Examination:

• Candidates who pass the PST and PET will take a written examination.
• The written exam tests the candidate’s general knowledge, reasoning ability, and trade-specific knowledge.

Trade/Skill Test:

• For tradesman positions, candidates will undergo a trade or skill test to evaluate their practical abilities.
• This test assesses the candidate’s proficiency in their specific trade.

Assam Rifles Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

• Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

• PET will be conducted for all the candidates qualified in the initial verification of the documents. The parameters for PET are follows (A) All India except Ladakh Region (i) For Male Candidates – 05 km run to qualify within 24 minutes. (ii) For Female Candidates – 1.6 km run to qualify within 8.30 minutes.
• (b) Ladakh Region (i) For Male Candidates – 1.6 Km run to quality within 7.00 minutes. (ii) For Female Candidates – 800 meters run to qualify within 5.00 minutes.
• The candidates who are successful in the PET / PST / Documentation will be considered eligible for short-listing to the next stage i.e. Trade Test Written Test, Detailed Medical Examination.

Trade Test (Skill Test):

• Trade (Skill) Test for technical & tradesmen personnel will be conducted after the completion of PET / PST in continuation. No marks will be awarded for the trade (skill) test. The candidates declared to pass in the trade (skill) test will only be allowed to appear in the Written Test.

Written Test:

• The question paper of the written test will comprise 100 marks Minimum pass marks for Genera / EWS candidates is 35% and 33% marks for SC / ST/ OBC candidates.
• The candidates who are successful in the PET / PST / Documentation / Trade (Skill) test / Written test will be short-listed to the next stage i.e. Detailed Medical Examination (OME) on the basis of their merit in the Written test will be about 4 times of the number of vacancies.
