OSSSC Teacher Recruitment 2024 Qualification

TGT (Arts)

• Bachelor of Education (B. Ed)/ Shastri (Sanskrit) degree or graduation in Arts or Commerce with 50% overall from a recognized university. 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized Institution, OR
• A four-year integrated B.A. B.Ed. program with 50% marks overall.

TGT (Science-PCM & CBZ)

• Graduation in science, technology, or engineering with a minimum of 50% overall from a recognized university and a bachelor’s degree in education (B. Ed.) or a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program from an NCTE-recognized institution, OR
• Four-year Integrated B. Sc. B.Ed. program with 50% overall from an NCTE-recognized university.

• In any event, the candidate must have completed two of the following courses for their bachelor’s degree to be eligible for pass, honors, elective, or optional subject out of the following:

(a) For Graduate Teachers with Training in Science (PCM): Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics

(b) Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biology, and Biotechnology for Trained Graduate Teacher-Science (CBZ).

Hindi Teacher

• Graduation from a recognized university with at least 50% of the total marks in Hindi as one of the electives, optional, pass, or honors subjects, and one of the following training credentials

(a)Hindi From Kendriya Hindi Sansthan in Agra, Shikshan Parangat

(b)The NCTE-recommended B.H.Ed. course must be completed at a recognized university or institution.

(c)B. Ed in Hindi, a course prescribed by NCTE, from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras.B.Ed. from NCTE OR a degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% overall.

Sanskrit Teacher

• Graduation with Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit), a course prescribed by NCTE, from a recognized University/Institution, and Sanskrit as one of the electives, optional, honors, or pass subjects from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate, OR
• Sanskrit with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit), a course prescribed by NCTE.

Physical Education Teacher

• +2 or its equivalent examination a C.P.Ed., B.P.Ed., or M.P. Ed from a recognized board or university.

Sevaka/Sevika

• The candidates must have passed +2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution with CT/DIET training and Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test(OTET) pass.

Tribal Language Teacher

• The candidates must have passed +2 Arts/Science/Commerce or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution with CT/DIET training and Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test(OTET) pass and also have proficiency in the tribal language for which he/she applying.
