OPSC Associate Professor Recruitment 2024 Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

A candidate should possess the following qualifications, at the
minimum:

• Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch.
• At least a total 6 research publications in SCI journal /UGC/AICTE approved list of journals.

For Workshop Superintendent (Associate Professor):

• Direct Recruitment of Workshop Superintendent (Associate Professor) shall be at par with Associate Professor with the qualification as prescribed for the Associate Professor in Mechanical/ Production Engineering.

Experience:

• A minimum of 8 years of teaching or research experience in an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a recognized university, college, or accredited research institution.
• Evidence of published work, including research papers in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.

Additional Criteria:

• Proven experience in guiding research students (such as Ph.D. students).
• The candidate must fulfil other eligibility conditions like experience, publications, and contributions to their field as per UGC norms.

Shortlisting of Applications:

• Applications are screened based on eligibility criteria like educational qualifications, experience, and research contributions.

Final Merit List:

• After the interview, a final merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the interview and overall academic and research credentials.
• The merit list will include the names of selected candidates who meet the recruitment criteria.

issued by the concerned Board/Council.

(ii) B.E./ B.Tech./B.S. Degree certificate wherever applicable.

(iii) M.E./M. Tech./M.S./Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch
wherever applicable.

(iv) Ph.D. Degree Certificate.

(v) Mark lists in support of all the aforesaid Examinations (H.S.C. to
Ph.D. Degree) including fail marks, if any, issued by the concerned
Board / Council/University.

(vii) Research Publications.

(viii) For Engineering disciplines, experience certificate showing a
minimum of 08 years of experience in teaching/research/ industry
(level 10, entry pay 57770)

(ix) For Engineering disciplines, experience certificates showing a minimum of 02 years of post-Ph.D. experience.
